A dominant defensive end, Tyrone McGriff, Jr. recorded over 160 tackles, 14 sacks, and
multiple national statistical rankings, including #5 in forced fumbles (2005) and #4 in
fumble recoveries (2004). He earned All-American and All-Conference honors in 2005
and 2006, was named team MVP in 2007, and remarkably played his final two seasons
through major injuries, declining surgery to continue competing for FAMU. He also
comes from a special lineage as his father Tyrone McGriff, Sr. is also in the hall.
