A Manga Cum Laude graduate of Florida A&M in 1975, Dr. Edward R. Scott II, has been a staunch supporter not only of Athletics, but the University as well. An area dentist, Dr. Scott has been the dentist of choice for FAMU Athletics since 1982, accompanying the football team to
all games to provide on the spot treatment when needed.

In addition to his support of the athletic teams from a medical standpoint, Dr. Scott has also been active in marshalling financial support for Athletics, having served for 10 years as President of the FAMU Boosters (1985 to 1995). Active in the community, Dr. Scott is a member of the Tallahassee Urban League and the Tallahassee branch of the NAACP, as well as member of various state and national dental and medical organizations. He is also deeply involved with the FAMU Alumni Association and the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.

Recipient of numerous awards and honors for his work as a distinguished alumni of Florida A&M, as well as for his community and church service, Dr. Scott is also an ordained A.M.E. minister and serves as pastor of the Mount Zion A.M.E. Church
in Lloyd, Florida.
