A scintillating return specialist unleashed by Hall of Fame coach Joe Taylor, two-time All-American Leroy Vann shattered numerous, school, conference and NCAA records for both punts and kickoff returns. He still holds NCAA records for career combined kick returns for touchdowns (11 = 8 punt returns; 3 kickoff returns); the high mark for punt returns for a touchdown in a season (5 in 2009); the career mark for punt return yards (1,042 yards on 53 returns), and he is one of six player all-time in NCAA history to record over 1,000 career yards in both punt returns (1,042) and kickoff returns (1,953).
