A standout offensive tackle for the Rattlers during the Ken Riley Era, Terry Beauford was a four-year letterwinner, who was a three-time All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference selection (1988, 1989, 1990).
 
Beauford captured Kodak Division IAA All-America and Sheridan Broadcasting Network (SBN) Black College All- America honors in 1990, at left tackle protecting 2009 Hall of Fame classmate, quarterback Tony Ezell. A seventh round pick by the NFL’s San Diego Chargers in 1991, Beauford played three seasons in the league for both San Diego (1991) and Green Bay (1992, 1993), before a two-year stint in the Canadian Football League’s Shreveport (La.) Pirates

Beauford has extensive collegiate coaching experience, with a head coaching stint at Morehouse College, and two tours at Hampton University, where he currently mentors the Pirates offensive
line.
