One of two members of the Kenyan Connection (Cynthia Chelelgo and Effiey Kosgei) that powered FAMU to four straight MEAC Cross Country titles, the pair were part of four conference title winners (2012-2015) in Cross Country and an Outdoor team championship in 2015. Both ladies made All-Conference and All-Academic honors in each of their four seasons, and both graduated from FAMU with Nursing degrees.
