Jaleesa Blue had a solid freshman campaign, though it was cut short by a season-ending injury. After a solid offseason, Blue is expected to contribute tot he success of the Lady Rattlers.
High School: Blue comes to the Lady Rattlers from Leesburg High School in Leesburg, Fla. she is expected to help the Lady Rattlers at the guard position, but with her size, she can play small forward as well. Her senior year, she earned all-state, top shot blocker, top rebounder, best defender honors and team MVP honors. She averaged 11.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks per game last season.

"What inspired me to play was when the boys would taunt me and say that I couldn't ball, and that motivated me to play, and I've been playing the game ever since."

"I would play volleyball because I first played in middle school, and I loved playing. However, I had to stop in high school to focus on basketball."
