Lsst season, Martin began the season as the starting point guard. She is a good ball handler and helped defensively with her height and athleticism. Martin scored sparingly last season, but has regained her touch in the offseason and will be looked to for an all-around game to lead the Lady Rattlers.
At Southwest Tennessee Community College: Keturah Martin is a 6'0" guard out of Memphis, Tenn. As a sophomore at, Southwest Tennessee Community College she averaged 12 points, six assist, two steals and four rebounds per game.
2008-09: As a freshman, she averaged 10 points and eight rebounds per game. She led the Lady Saluqis in steals (42), assist (79), and free throw percentage (.676). Martin averaged 10.3 points per game and scored a season-high 21 points four times against Lawson State, Arkansas Baptist, Dyersburg State, and Volunteer State. She will have two years of eligibility remaining at FAMU.
High School: Martin played at East High School in Memphis, Tenn. She finished her senior campaign averaging 10 points, eight rebounds, four assist and two steals per game. She helped lead East to a 26-6 record as a senior.
Personal: Keturah Martin was born on August 25, 1990 to Iris Buddie and Donald Martin in Memphis, Tenn. She is currently majoring in Criminal Justice.
