2012: Pillow started in all 11 of the Rattler games at the safety position as he finished the season with 67 tackles (48 UA, 19 Asst), 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one force fumble and two interceptions on the season. Pillow recorded a season high 13 tackles against Oklahoma (9-8-12), eight tackles against Southern University (9-29-12) and Bethune-Cookman (11-17-12). He also tallied seven tackles against Hampton (9-15-12) and Howard (10-6-12).
2011: Pillow saw action in eight games last season as he tallied 18 tackles (10 UA, 8 A), 0.5 tackles for loss and one pass breakup. He tallied a season high five tackles against South Florida (9-17-11) and Howard University (10-8-11). In addition, Pillow recorded three takedowns against Howard (10-15-11) and two against Bethune-Cookman (11-19-11).
High School: Pillow lettered in football at Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Fla. As a quarterback in high school, Pillow passed for 1,700 yards with 14 passing TDs and six rushing TDs, earning First Team All-Conference honors and multiple Player of the Week honors. In addition, he was nominees for My Florida Scholarship Award.
As a junior, Pillow passed for 600 yards and five TDs. He reaped Player of the Week honors and was a member of the honor roll.
