2011: McCloughen was unexpectedly called to duty to substitute as long snapper for injured starter Jay Culpepper in the Spring "Orange and Green Game." Most would agree that he did an excellent job in the position. With Culpepper recovring from his injury, McCloughen may find himself working in the starting role.
2010: McCloughen, who made the transition from long snapper to fullback last season, saw limited action in the Rattler backfield. He competed for the starting fullback position.
He was a part of an offense that finished fourth in scoring offense (21.9 ppg), sixth in total offense (294.6 total offense per game), fourth in rushing offense (152.5 yards rushing) and sixth in passing offense (142.1 yards passing per game). The Rattlers racked up a season high 327 rushing yards on 42 carries, along with four rushing TDs against Savannah State (10-16-10) and piled up 251 rushing yards on 37 carries, along with two TDs against Morgan State (10-30-10).
2009: McCloughen, was in a reserve role last season as the team's number two long snapper. He was a member of the FAMU special teams that finished first in punt return average at 18.8 yards per return, second in PAT kicking (38-of-39) and third in kickoff return yards per game (20.0 yards per game).
2008: McCloughen was a part of the special teams unit as a deep snapper, that finished the season ranked second in field goal percentage (.600), third in PAT kicking percentage (.982) and eighth in punting (29.8 net punts per game).
High School: McCloughen was a four-sport athlete in football, track, soccer and weightlifting at Harmony High School in Harmony, Fla. His senior season, McCloughen helped guide his team to a 7-4 record as a member of the first string offensive line, where he did not relinquish a sack. McCloughen was the 2006-07 male scholar athlete recipient. He also was award the coaches' award in football. He was awarded his varsity athletic ring and academic ring, while graduating with a 3.9 GPA.
Personal: Kory Ian McCloughen was born on November 6, 1988 to Patrick and Vicki McCloughen in Three Rivers, Mich. He has two siblings Kale (21) and Kati (23) and is a member of the Boy Scouts. McCloughen is also highly involved with his church, the Osceola Christian Church.
