2010: Folsom finished the season with 58 tackles ( 37 UA, 21 Asst) as the Rattlers' second leading tackler in the 11 games that he played in for FAMU. He tallied 10 tackles for a loss of 31 yards, three sacks, one fumble return, one interception, six quarterback hurries and two breakups. He garnered a season high eight tackles against Savannah St ate (10-2-10), and seven tackles against Norfolk State (10-23-10) and Hampton (11-13-10).
2009: Redshirted
2008: Folsom tallied six tackles and pass breakups in the five games that he played in. He recorded a season high three tackles against Howard (9-20-08) and two tackles against Morgan State (11-1-08).
2007: This season, Folsom will make the transition from tight end to linebacker. He played in three games recording two catches for 11 yards with one TD in the game against Howard (9-15-07).
High School: Folsom lettered in both football and track at Madison County High School in Madison, Fla. He was a first team all Big Bend, first team All-State honors and garnered the high grade point average on defense in 2006. Folsom tallied a total of 110 tackles, 10 sacks and 13 quarterback hurries his senior season. In his best game against Coffee county, Folsom finished as the team's leading tackler with 13 tackles, three quarterback hurries and two punts for 45 yards each.
Personal: Demarius Folsom was born on April 13, 1989. His parents are Tina and Earnie Johnson and he has one sibling, Aubrey Johnson (10). Folsom is also a member of the Greater Community Baptist Church and is majoring in International Business.
