2009-10:  Bent saw action in 24 of the Rattlers 31 games, starting in three of them.  He finished the season averaging 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.  In addition, he averaged 9.2 minutes per game, while shooting 44.4 percent (24-of-54) from the field and 55.2 percent (16-of-29) from the charity stripe.  Bent scored a season high eight points and pulled down a season high five rebounds against Stanford University (11-21-09) and pumped in eight points against Rider (11-24-09).  

2008-09:  Bent saw action in 29 games, starting in 10 of them.  He finished the season averaging 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. Bent recorded a season high eight points against Morehead State (11-23-08).  He pumped in six points against Arkansas (11-29-08),  Texas A&M (12-15-08),  Delaware State (1-26-09) and Morgan State (3-11-09) in the quarterfinal round of the 2009 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.

@High School:  Bent lettered in basketball and track and field at Swainsboro High School in Swainsboro, Ga. His senior year, Bent was named to the Star Honor Roll.  In track, he was the Region Champion and finished fifth in the state in the shot put.

In his junior season, Bent earned All-State Track and Field Honors.

@Personal:  Cecil A. Bent, Jr., was born on September 18, 1990 to Fanelpha Mason and Cecil Bent, Sr. in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.   He has two siblings, Jamaree` Mason (14) and Kevin Montgomery (7).  Bent is a member of the youth choir, youth usher board and is a Junior Deacon.  He is currently majoring in Health and Physical Education and enjoys playing basketball in his spare time.
