Jamie Adams burst on the scene to lead the Rattlers in scoring last season. He averaged 14 points, while making 56 three-pointers and dishing out 93 assists. His success led him to make All-MEAC for the Rattlers.
From humble beginnings in Chicago, Ill., where he attended Hales Franciscan High School, Adams also ran track. His senior season, he made All-State, several weeks he was nominated Sun Times Player of the Week, was third in the state in scoring and ranked second in the state of Illinois.
He averaged 19 points and seven assists his senior year. Upon graduation, he went to J.C. Connor State College (Warner, Oklahoma). The team was ranked No.1 in the nation for two weeks, and finished second overall on the year. The next season, he walked on to Colby Community College (Colby, Kansas). He earned national player of the week and conference player of the week multiple times. He had a cereer high of 33 points and seven assists against top-rated Hutchinson Community College. His season at Hutchinson C.C., he averaged 16.4 points and six assists.
Jamie comes from a family of basketball players. His older brother Jerome Randle went to California Berkeley, and now plays professionally. He also has a brother, Jeremy Randle. His sisters are Ontaria Ratliff and Bianca McGhee. He is the son of Edwin Adams and Zsa Zsa McGhee.
His hobbies include basketball, bowling and go karts.
