High School:    Moore was a four-year letter winner in basketball at Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Fla.  He finished his senior season averaging 19.0 points per game, where helped lead the Raiders to a 3A State Championship and a perfect 27-0 record.   He reaped First Team Class 3A State honors, First Team All-Big Bend honors and was named the team's Most Valuable Player.   Also, he graduated from Rickards with honors with a 3.7 GPA.  He scored a season high 23 points in the 3A State Championship game.

In his junior season, Moore averaged 15.0 points per game, earning him First Team All-Big Bend Honors and was named the team's Most Outstanding Offensive Player. 

Personal:  Avery Latrez Moore was born on June 23 1990 and he resides with his aunt and uncle Cassandra  Pease and Andrew Moten.   He has four cousins, Curtest Hightown, Dale Harrison, Patrick Gilyard and Kendrick Frison.    Moore has not declared a major and enjoys playing basketball in his spare time.
