What: SWAC Indoor Track & Field Championships

The Florida A&M track and field program now sets its sights on championships and will chase rings at the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Indoor Championships. 

The meet will livestream Sunday (Feb. 18) events beginning at 12 p.m. CT / 1 p.m. ET. 

Recapping Last Seasons Meet
Highlighting the returning Rattlers, Dajon Clark was a two-time medalist at the 2023 championship meet, placing first in the long jump and second in the 60-meter race. Lacie Deboskie is the only returner from the second-place 4x400 meter relay. 

SWAC Indoor Performance List
If the 2024 SWAC performance list translated to medals, FAMU track would possess: seven golds, seven silvers, and three bronze. The team currently maintains 23 "Top 5" times/marks. 

Breanna Brown-Marshall and Joseph DeRosier also sit amongst the nation's best on the NCAA Division I Indoor Qualifying List; Brown-Marshall ranks 31st in the high jump and DeRosier 41st in the 60-meter hurdles.
