Williams’ Incredible Season Concludes in NCAA East Preliminaries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. | Teleda Williams' incredible debut season came to an end Thursday (May 25) in the NCAA East Preliminary. The graduate student qualified for the regional meet in the 200 and 400 meter dashes – respectively, crossing the finish line in 42nd (23.66) and 35th (54.37).

In addition to cementing herself as one of the fastest collegiate athletes in the east, Williams' outdoor season also captured a Southwestern Athletic Conference title in the 400 and silver medals in the 200 and 4x100 relay.

Pache' Caldwell continues his appearance in the NCAA preliminaries in the high jump Friday at 2:30 p.m. The "Top 12" will secure a spot in NCAA Track & Field Championships in Austin, Texas.
