The Florida A&M track and field team is set to compete in the SWAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Texas (May 4-6). Live results will be available the entire meet. Saturday's events will also be broadcast on the SWAC Digital Network.

Indoor Medals
Florida A&M wrapped action at the 2023 SWAC Indoor Championships with plenty of hardware – two pieces of gold, three pieces of silver, and two bronze. Teleda Williams claimed third place in the 200 (24.53) and 400 (55.67) meter dashes and was also part of the 4x400 relay that finished second (3:48.56), while Dajon Clark ran his fastest 60-meter dash in 6.69, a second-place finish, before taking first place in the long jump (7.32 meters).

Dating back to the Rattlers' time in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, Kiara Ivy has won four straight pole vault titles. The graduate student has medaled in five consecutive conference meets, beginning with a third-place effort at the 2019 outdoor event.

A season ago, the Rattlers sent Rachel Robertson and Jaylyn Scott to the first-round meet, where they respectively competed in the triple jump and 400-meter hurdles. Robertson went on to punch her ticket to the 2022 NCAA Track & Field Championships to mark back-to-back seasons with FAMU representation at the national meet. Will the Orange and Green make it three straight?
