Rattlers Wrap Day Two at FSU Relays

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M track and field program wrapped action at the FSU Relays Friday (March 24) with a few personal records. The Rattlers' top performances saw runners Eyana Dixon (58.31 / 400 meters), William Shelton (2:04.69 / 800 meters), and Ava Cason (5:31.95 / 1500 meters) each shave time off their previous college bests, while Quentin Williams' farthest javelin throw (56.59 meters) also set a new PR.   
 
Other notables: When comparing FAMU relays over the last three outdoor seasons  – the men's 4x100, comprised of Dajon Clark, Markez Sermons, Jaydon Sanford, and Robert Hampton, have clocked the fastest time in 41.21. The women's 4x4 (Zoe Hightower, Lauryn Hall, Lacie Deboskie, and Teleda Williams) is also No. 1 (3:45.14).
 
The Rattlers are off to the University of Florida next week (March 30 – April 1) for the Florida Relays.
