Rattlers Conclude Spring Break Classic with Three More Wins

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. | The Florida A&M track and field program wrapped its outdoor season-opening weekend with Lauryn Hall, Jaydon Sanford, Forrest Booker, and Dajon Clark standing atop the winner's podium. The four were victorious at the River City Spring Break Classic (March 16-17), the former three during day two of the meet, and altogether, the Rattlers compiled 13 "Top 5" finishes.

Hall took to JAX Track at Hodges Stadium, the 2023 NCAA East Preliminary site, and recorded a first-place personal record in the 100-meter dash. She and Shaniya Berry finished back-to-back in the event in 11.57 and 12.02, respectively, while Sanford was the first to cross the finish line in the 110-meter hurdles (14.67).

The FAMU jumpers were quite successful at North Florida with nearly half of the aforementioned "Top 5" finishes, and Booker topped their appearance with the No. 1 men's performance in the triple jump (13.93 meters).

The FSU Relays are next up for the program March 23-24.
