LANDOVER, Md. | The Florida A&M University women's indoor track and field team sits in eighth place after the second day of the 2020 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex.
The Lady Rattlers are eighth with 12 points, as Bethune-Cookman leads th field with 45 points. North Carolina A&T State is second with 39 points, followed by Norfolk State (31), Morgan State (25.5), Maryland Eastern Shore (24), North Carolina Central (18) and Howard (16.5). Delaware State (11) and South Carolina State (8) round out the scoring.
In the high jump,
Rachel Robertson finished sixth, with a leap of 1.62mm while
Alelee Figueroa placed eighth in the weight throw at 16.10m. The Lady Rattlers rounded out the day by finishing sixth in the 4000m Distance Medley Relay.
The final day of the MEAC Indoor Track and Field Championships will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex.
