2010: Scott, is a big defensive lineman and possibly the strongest man of the Rattler football team. He has been slated to start at nose guards this season for FAMU. Last season, Scott saw action in 10 of the Rattlers' games as he finished the season with 18 tackles (5 UA, 13 Asst), 3.0 tackles for a loss of 13 yards, 2.5 sacks and one quarterback hurry. He recorded a season-high seven tackles against Delaware State (9-11-10) and recorded three total takedowns against Morgan State (10-30-10).
2009: On Special teams, Scott tallied four tackles (2 solo, 2 asst). He recorded a season-high three tackles against Hampton (11-14-09).
High School: Scott was a three sport letter winner in football, track and weightlifting at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Fla. He finished his senior season with 90 tackles earning Wendy's High School High School Heisman honors and first team All-Big Bend honors. In addition, he was the ESPN share-qualifier in weightlifting and was a preseason third team all-state selection.
Personal: Padric Scott was born on January 8, 1990 to Pamela and Dr. Edward R. Scott, II in Tallahassee, Fla. He has two older siblings in Dr. Kanesha Scott and Edward R, Scott, III. In addition, Scott has two cousins that are currently on the football team in Leon Scott and Jonny Walker. He is a member of the Mt. Zion AME Youth Ministry and also is a member of the Appalachee S.T.A.R program and is member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. Scott is currently majoring in Biology and enjoys play video games in his spare time. In addition, Scott is an ordained ministe, who performed his trial sermon this spring.
