2010: Ross saw action in all 11 games last season as he collected 29 tackles (16 UA, 13 Asst) and three pass breakups. He tallied a season high nine tackles against Norfolk State (10-23-10) and recorded a four tackle performance, both against Miami (Fla.) (9-2-10) and South Carolina State (10-2-10).
2009: Ross recorded 12 tackles (8 solos, 4 asst), one tackle for a loss of one yard, and two pass breaks up in the nine game that he played in last season. He recorded a season high three tackles against Bethune-Cookman (11-21-09) and two tackles against Winston-Salem State (9-10-09) and Norfolk State (10-24-09).
High School: Ross lettered in football, basketball and track at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Fla. He tallied 56 tackles, three interceptions and 17 TDs in his senior season of competition, earning him second team all-conference honors and was the preseason all-conference selection at corner back. He recalls his best performance in a game is when he recorded five tackles, one interception, one punt return for a TD and two rushing TDs against University Christian.
Personal: Marvin Ross was born on May 11, 1990 to Velma and Marvin Ross in Jacksonville, Fla. He has two siblings McKenzie Rutledge and Tyvann Faust. His cousin Gerard Ross plays for the Seattle Seahawks. Ross is currently majoring in education.
