2010: Hartley started in all 11 of the Rattlers' games at right guard this past season. He graded out on the season at 90 percent. He was a part of an offense that finished fourth in scoring offense (21.9 ppg), sixth in total offense (294.6 total offense per game), fourth in rushing offense (152.5 rushing yards per game) and sixth in passing offense (142.1 passing passing yards per game). The Rattlers racked up a season high 327 rushing yards on 42 carries, along with four rushing TDs against Savannah State (10-16-10) and piled up 251 rushing yards on 37 carries, along with two TDs against Morgan State (10-30-10).
2009: Hartley saw action in four games. With Hartley in the lineup, the Rattlers' offense garnered a season high 419 yards of total offense against Bethune-Cookman (11-21-09) and racked up 399 yards of total offense against Howard (9-17-09).
2008: Hartley was redshirted last season.
High School: Hartley lettered in football, wrestling, track and weight lifting at Fort White High School in Fort White, Fla. He finished his senior season with 39 pancake blocks without allowing a sack, earning him all-conference and all -state honors and was a Gainesville Sun Super 7 selection. In his best high school performance, he recorded seven pancake blocks in the school's first ever play-off game.
Personal: Robert Lee Hartley was born on July 26, 1989 to Tammy and Pat Hartley in Lake City, Fla. He has two siblings, Patrick and Lincoln. Hartley is currently majoring in political science and enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.
