Biography

2010: Rocker, last season started for the injured speedster Philip Sylvester on a couple of occasions. This season he will be the featured back in the Rattler backfield. He finished last season with 172 yards on 47 carries with a pair of TDs. He scored three TDs against Howard (9-18-10) as he rushed for 57 yards on 10 carries, scoring two TDs and catching one pass out of the backfield for 78 yards for a TD, earning him the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The week before, Rocker tallied 45 yards on 12 carries against Delaware State (9-11-10).

2009: Rocker saw action in all 11 Rattler games as he rushed for 231 yards on 49 carries with two TDs. He rushed for a season high 64 yards on eight carries against Delaware State (9-5-09). He then rushed for 59 yards on nine carries with one TD against Howard (9-17-09).


High School: Rocker lettered in both football and basketball at North Marion High School in Ocala, Fla. He was a first team all-conference selection and earned Player of the Week Honors. Rocker recalls his best performance was when he rushed for 279 yards, scoring four TDs.

Personal: Eddie Quartaz Rocker was born on April 14, 1991 to Rometha and Jamie Gilmore in Ocala, Fla. He has two siblings Jamie Gilmore, Jr., and Tyron Gilmore. Rocker is a member of the Pleasant Grove MBC in Ft McCoy, Fla.
