2011: Holdren was picked as a preseason All-MEAC first team selection.
2010: Holdren finished the season with 2,724 yards on 68 boots for a 40.1 punting average earning him first team All-Conference honors. His longest punt of the season came against Morgan State (10-30-10) as he tallied 258 yards on six punts. He recorded a season-high 403 yards on nine boots against South Carolina State (10-2-10) with his longest punt being 51 yards.
2009: Holdren tallied 37 boots for 1,363 yards to average 36.8 yards per punt with 14 punts landing inside the 20-yard line. He recorded five touchbacks and had 22 punts inside the 20. He garnered a season high seven punts for 317 yards against Hampton to average 45.3 yards per punt, with his longest punt being for 51 yards. Against Miami (10-10-09), he tallied 256 yards on seven kicks to average 36.6 yards per punt with his longest being for 49 yards.
High School: Holdren was a three-sport athlete in Football, Soccer and Tennis at First Coach High School in Jacksonville, Fla. He was a first team All-Conference and first team All-First Coast his senior season. He was also the school's statistical champion in punting. In addition, Holdren attended the Ray Guy Punt Academy, were he finished first in accuracy and second in distance.
Holdren finished his senior averaging 46.4 yards per punt and 41.2 yard per punt his junior season.
He recalls his best performance was a 68-yard boot and another punt that landed on the one-yard line against Madison in their homecoming game.
