High School: Lewis lettered in track and field at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla. In 2009, he was a part of the third place relay team for the 4x800. Lewis also ran in the state competition with the 4x400 meter team, earning fourth place.

Personal: Chareif Lewis was born on November 19, 1992 to Denise Avent and Chareif Lewis in New York, New York. Lewis has two sisters, Destiney Avent (30) and Laila Lewis (18). He is currently pursuing a degree in health care management, and in his spare time he enjoys listening to music and sleeping.
