Biography

Transfer: Carroll ran one season at Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Fla. Carroll also ran one season at Bethune Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Fla.

High School: Carroll attended Amos P. Godby High School in Tallahassee, Fla. In his junior season of high school, Carroll was the state champion in both the 110 and 300 hurdles. He was a part of the 4x400 meter relay team that came in 4th place. He was the AAU state champion, and he earned 9th place at the AAU Nationals. He was named all Big Bend in the 110 and 300 hurdles, and he was named All male track athlete Big Bend. In his senior season, he was named all Big Bend in the 110 hurdles. H was district and regional champion in both the 110 and 300 hurdles. He came in 2nd place at the finals in the 110 meter hurdles, and 4th place in the 300 hurdles. He ran as lead leg in the 4x400 meter relay and helped lead his team to 3rd place at the state finals.

Personal: Damarius Carroll was born on March 7, 1987 to Annie and Amos Carroll in Tallahassee, Fla.  Carroll has one brother, Demetric Carroll (27). He is currently a double-major in criminal justice and sociology and in his free time he enjoys singing and playing video games.
