Biography

Davonte Austin comes to the Rattlers from Clark Atlanta University.  Austin spent a season with the Panthers before transferring to FAMU.  As a high schooler at Raines High School in Jacksonville, Austin powered his team to the title "Outstanding Offense."  He earned a spot in the Shrine Bowl his senior season.  His final season at Raines, he passed for 1,777 yards and 17 touchdowns.  He threw just 7 interceptions and rushed for four touchdowns.  He holds Raines' all-time record for passing yards.  He was an honor roll student in high school.
