Washington
saw limited action last season due to an injury sustained in the early part of
the year.
She started in five
of
the 15 games that she played in,
finishing the season with one hit,
while scoring two runs and driving in a run.
Washington garnered her only hit of the season against
Savannah State (4-24-10).
High
School:
Washington was a two-sport letter winner in softball
and volleyball at Melbourne High School in Melbourne, Fla.
She finished her senior season batting
.357, earning first team All-Space Coast and All Cape Coast honors.
In her junior season of play,
Washington batted .394 earning second team All-Space Coast and All Cape Coast
honors.

Alexandria Washington was born on April 4, 1991 to Pamelia and Steven
Washington in West Mission Veijo, Calif.
She has an older sister, Jackie, and volunteers at the
Daily Bread in Melbourne, Fla.
Washington is currently majoring in pre-nursing and enjoys volunteering
in her spare time.
