2010:
Gordon saw action in 27 of the Lady Rattlers' 54
games mostly as the designated player.
She recorded 21 hits in 94 at-bats to garner a .223 batting average,
scoring six runs, while driving in 12. In addition, Gordon
had six hits for extra bases in five
doubles and one triple.
She
punched out a season high three hits against Howard University (5-14-10) in the
2010 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Softball Tournament.
Gordon also recorded a two-hit
performance against
Norfolk State
(4-10-10) and South Carolina State (5-8-10).
High School:
Gordon was a three-year letter winner
in softball at Durant High School in Plant City, Fla., where she was a member
of the honor roll and earned the FAMU Alumni Plant City Chapter Scholarship,
her senior season.
Personal:
Corinne Gordon was born on October 18, 1991 to
Deborah and Willie Gordon in Ventura, Calif.
She has three siblings, sisters
Destiny and Brielle, plus brother Joel.
Both sisters have ties to the Lady
Rattler Softball program, as Brielle is a current member of the team, while
Destiny is a former pitcher (2004-07). She is currently majoring in Graphic
Design and enjoys singing and reading in her spare time.
