Jameel Sanders has been named the SWAC Defensive Player of the Week following a game-changing performance in the Rattlers' 33-25 victory over Albany State.
Sanders filled the stat sheet with six tackles (four solo, two assists), one sack, two tackles for loss, and a pass breakup. His sack came at a pivotal point, disrupting a Golden Rams drive and shifting momentum in FAMU's favor.
