BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Brookelynn Thomas has only appeared in three matches for the Florida A&M volleyball team and is already receiving notice. The graduate transfer was named to the GSU Invitational All-Tournament team after a stellar performance in the Rattlers' season-opening weekend and was recently named the Southwestern Athletic Conference's Newcomer of the Week (Sept. 4).

Thomas recorded 32 kills in action against Georgia State, Indiana State, and South Dakota State, highlighted by a 15-kill and .433 attacking performance versus GSU. She also recorded nine blocks (eight assisted) during the tournament.

Thomas and the Rattlers have a four-match homestand on the horizon that begins with North Florida on Wednesday (Sept. 4).
