Florida A&M Volleyball is set to host two summer camps in Tallahassee that give athletes a clear pathway to sharpen their game—whether they're learning the nuances of a new role or preparing to take their talent to the college level. The 2026 FAMU Middle School Position Skill Camp (July 24–25) and the 2026 FAMU Elite College Prep Camp (June 21–22) are built around the same winning formula: position-focused instruction in the mornings, then competitive training that puts those skills to work in game-like situations.
Middle School Position Skill Camp (6th–8th Grade) | July 24–25, 2026 | Tallahassee, Fla.
Designed for 6th through 8th graders, the Middle School Position Skill Camp emphasizes skill development by position while helping campers better understand what it takes to thrive in their chosen role. Campers will identify their position prior to attending, allowing instruction to be tailored from the start. Training will feature dedicated work for setters, liberos, outside/opposites, and middles, with morning sessions focused on position-specific techniques and afternoon periods blending groups together for competitive drills.
The camp begins Friday, July 24 at 12:30 p.m. and concludes Saturday, July 25, with Day 2 starting at 8:30 a.m. The commuter rate is $195.
