AUSTIN, Texas --The Florida A&M volleyball team could not beat a dynamic Longhorns offense Friday on the road losing to Texas in straight sets (11-25, 8-25, 14-25).
The non-conference loss dropped Florida A&M to 14-17 on the season.
Farah Farooq finished with five kills on the day to lead the Rattler offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .444. got seven digs from Victoria Santana to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Rattlers fell behind early, losing a tough first set 25-11. Florida A&M trailed by as many as 14 points as Texas never gave up the lead in a set that was tied up zero times before the Longhorns took control.
SET 2 | Florida A&M fell in the second set 25-8, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. Florida A&M trailed by as many as 17 points as Texas grabbed the advantage for good at 4-3 in a set that was tied up three times before the Longhorns took over the lead.
SET 3 | Florida A&M couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Rattlers dropped the first point and never clawed back into the lead before losing the set 25-14.
