Coach Yilmaz adds Kaitlyn Scroggins as assistant coach

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M volleyball adds Kaitlyn Scroggins as an assistant coach to the coaching staff.

"I'm happy to add Kaitlyn to the staff as she's knowledgeable and a hard worker," said Head Coach Gokhan Yilmaz. "Kailtyn worked some of my camps, assisted with a club volleyball team, and did a great job."

"I'm excited to be joining Coach Gokhan's staff after playing for him last year," said Scroggins. "I came to FAMU to contribute to a championship team, and since that didn't happen as a player, I wanted to contribute my knowledge of the game through my passion for coaching at the college level to try to win one as a coach."

Scroggins remains in Tallahassee after joining the team in 2023 as a graduate. Scroggins saw action in 31 matches and was fifth on the team with 127 digs. Scroggins was also one of the top servers, finishing second with 26 service aces.
