GAINESVILLE, Fla. | Day one of the Tom Jones Memorial Invite (April 12) saw Auburn, Texas Tech, and Florida A&M finish "Top 3" in the 400-meter hurdles, with
Katelynn Smith owning third place in 58.52. The personal best highlighted the Rattlers' top finish and one of two PRs, as
Rori Lowe continued to shave time in the 200-meter dash with a personal best and 13th-place finish of 24.12.
Florida A&M competed in three events Friday – the 200, 400 hurdles, and long jump – and
Mia Heard notched the best placement in the latter (5.78 meters / 18' 11.75").
The track and field program will return to James G. Presley Stadium on Saturday. The second day will also be livestreamed on the SEC Network+.
