3/16/2023 10:35:00 PM

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. | Florida A&M track and field went 1-2 in the men's long jump, and several others finished in "Top 10" to stamp the first day of the River City Spring Break Classic (March 16). The Rattlers only competed in two events Thursday but will continue action Friday at noon.

It's not surprising that Dajon Clark, the Southwestern Athletic Conference's defending indoor LJ champion, kicked off the outdoor season with yet another first-place finish. The junior's 7.65-meter attempt set the mark to beat, and Pache' Caldwell came in at second with a personal record of 7.53 meters.

Teleda Williams also recorded a medalist finish for the Rattlers with a 24.56 effort in the 200 meters.
