ATLANTA, Ga. | Florida A&M bowling traveled to Georgia for the TNBA Invitational and finished with a second-place team finish and two top-five individual finishes.

"We fell short of the championship trophy, but I'm so very proud of our young team's stellar performance this weekend," said head coach Karen Brown.

Through the first two days of the tournament, the Rattlers went 5-5 before beating Coppin State (1,066 - 1,007) and top-seed Alabama State (738-611) to advance to the championship match versus Morgan State, in which the Rattlers lost (966-851).

Emila Sturk and Jordan Shipp led the way for the Rattlers as Sturk finished second with an average of 196.6, and Shipp finished fifth with an average of 185.4.
