FAMU Bowling Competes at Bulldog Invitational

DALLAS, Texas – The Florida A&M University women's bowling team wrapped up a competitive weekend at the 2025 Bulldog Classic, finishing 16th overall with a total pinfall of 10,867 across 63 games. Despite facing one of the strongest fields of the early NCAA season, the Rattlers displayed measurable progress and competitive spirit throughout the three-day tournament.

Hosted by Louisiana Tech, the Bulldog Classic featured several nationally ranked programs, including Vanderbilt, Louisiana Tech, and Jacksonville State.
FAMU recorded a total of 4,486 pins in Baker competition and 4,258 pins in Traditional matches, showing marked improvement in shot-making and communication as the weekend progressed. The Rattlers' best Baker block came in Match 5 with a 924 total, a season-best performance that reflected the team's growing cohesion.
In traditional play, the Rattlers turned in competitive scores against several higher-seeded teams, including a 903 versus Jacksonville State and a 901 against Alabama State.

Individual Standouts

Freshman Briana Buezon led the way for Florida A&M with a 959 total pinfall and a 191.8 average over five traditional games, highlighted by a 244 in Game 4.
Freshman Mary Terebesi added consistent support with 881 pins (176.2 avg), while freshman Bree Stewart (184.8 avg) and freshman Alieenah Rodriguez (170.3 avg) contributed key mid-frame strikes and spares that helped keep the team competitive throughout the weekend.
