Dominique Washington Only HBCU Volleyball Player Named to AVCA All-American List

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M volleyball standout Dominique Washington was named to the AVCA Southeast Region All-American Honorable Mention list for the second straight season. Washington was the only player from an HBCU to make any AVCA regional list.

Washington had another stellar season for the Rattlers as she went on to earn SWAC Player of the Year, 1st Team All-SWAC, SWAC Tournament MVP, and All-SWAC Tournament Team for the second consecutive season. Washington finished the season with 425 kills (65th in the nation, 1st in SWAC)and 481.5 points (71st in the nation, 1st in SWAC).
