Rattlers’ Historic Season Comes to an End

The team left the NCAA Regional with its best round of golf.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida A&M crowned its historic 2021 season Wednesday (May 19) with its best round of golf at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. The Rattlers carded a 294 on the final day --- the only round under 300 -- as Ethan Mangum (73), Mahindra Lutchman (75), Prince Cunningham (74) each turned in tournament lows.

As consistent as they come, Mulbe Dillard led FAMU with a 72 to finish tied for 28th on the individual leaderboard at one-over-par (217).

The seniors left the Seminole Legacy Golf Club on the highest of notes and will forever be known as Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Champions and the first FAMU men's golf team to qualify for the NCAAs.

Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Liberty, and TCU advanced to next week's NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz.
