NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. | Climbing the leaderboard seven spots higher than last year's finish, Florida A&M men's golf turned in a stellar performance at the Bash at the Beach Tournament Tuesday (March 16), where it closed out play fourth overall in an 11-team field.
The Rattlers carded a score of 869 (286, 288, and 295, respectively, in each round) while
Mulbe Dillard finished 2-under at 214 to place seventh individually. He recorded five birdies and a pair of bogeys en route to his second Top 10 finish of the spring season.
Ethan Mangum also impressed with a 1-under (215) to tie for eighth.
A year ago, FAMU finished 11th at the tournament, completing the three-round event with a 25-over-par 889.
The Rattlers are off to Raleigh, N.C., March 29-30 for the HBCU Invitational at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
