DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Mar. 9) - The FAMU Men's Golf team vied for honors in the 2019 Gary Freeman Invitational at the LPGA International Course in Daytona Beach, placing ninth (9th) overall against the 16-tam field.

FAMU finished the 54-hole event with a 942 team total (322-311-309), which was won by MEAC Associate member Augusta University (878), with host Bethune-Cookman on their heels (890).

Individually, FAMU's Mulbe Dillard tied for 11th (80-73-74=227); Mahindra Lutchman posted a Top 30 finish (29th, 83-75-75=233).

Also competing for FAMU were "Alejandro Toro (79-82-80=2410: Cameron Riley (80-81-81=242); Chase Killette (91-93-80=264).
