High School: Johnson attended Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida where she lettered in softball and volleyball. Her senior year she had over 400 kills in volleyball and she was named most offensive player. She was also recognized as 1^st team All Big-Bend both her junior and senior year and she was honorable mention in the state.

Personal: Ashley Danielle Johnson was born on August 16, 1990 in Lake City, Florida to Sirene and Tony Johnson. She is currently pursuing a degree in health care management and she enjoys playing Call of Duty in her spare time.
