High School: Kemp attended Lawton Chiles High School in Tallahassee,
Florida where she lettered in volleyball and soccer. In her senior season of
play, she was named the Most Valuable Player on the soccer team, and volleyball
defensive player of the year. She finished high school with almost 900 digs.
Personal: Katelyn Marie Kemp was born on February 18, 1992 in
Tallahassee, Florida to Beverly and Billy Kemp. She has two brothers, Kyle (24)
and Troy (17). Quite a few of her relatives have played professional and
college sports. She is currently pursuing a degree in business and in her spare
time she enjoys sewing.
