Gordon lettered in volleyball,
softball, soccer and basketball at Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences
in Chattanooga, Tenn.
In her
senior season, Gordon batted .485
finishing the season with 15 doubles, three triples, four home runs and
13 stolen bases, earning her All-Tournament,
All-District and Most Valuable Player honors.
In volleyball, Gordon reaped All-District
honors
and earned All-District,
All-State and first team All
Region honors in basketball.
In her junior season of play, Gordon batted .492, finishing
the season with 18 doubles, five (5) triples, seven (7) home runs and 17 stolen
bases earning her first team All-Region, All District and All Turnament honors.
She was named the team’s Most
Valuable Player in basketball as she earned first team All-Region honors and
second team All-Prep honors.
Gordon recalls her best game was when she went
three-for-three from the plate, recorded two stolen bases and recorded one
putout.
Personal:
Chariah Michaela Gordon was born on
June 23, 1992 to Tania Courtland and Michael Gordon in Chattanooga, Tenn.
She has four siblings, Channing,
Christopher, Ciera and Brooklyn.
Gordon has volunteered at the Food Bank, where she has
logged over 50 hours and is a member of the Fellowship of
Christian Athletes.
She is currently majoring
in Biology
and enjoys listening
music, writing and drawing in her spare time.
