2010-2011: McKelton had a solid season, where she eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for her career as a Lady Rattler. The sharpshooter returns as the leading scorer for the Lady Rattlers. She had a
16.5 points per game average last year. She scored 495 points, en
route to eclipsing the 1,000 point career mark as just a junior. She
also dropped in 49 three-pointers, grabbed 98 rebounds, dished out 47
assists and clawed 48 steals.
2009-10:
McKelton started in 23 of
the 29 games that she played in averaging 15.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per
game.
She finished the season ranked
fourth in three point made field goals per game (1.8)... sixth in the conference
in scoring...10th
in steals per game (1.7)...11th
in three
point field goal percentage (.315)...
McKelton scored a season
high 32 points against Howard (1-23-10), dropped in 28 points against
South Carolina State (3-1-10) and tallied a game high 27 points against Florida
(12-1-09). In addition, she
recorded one double-double on the season in a 30 point and 13 rebound
performance against Maryland Eastern Shore (2-17-10).
2008-09:
McKelton
played in all 31 of the Lady
Rattlers games, while starting in two of them. She finished the season averaging 6.2 points, and 2.6
rebounds per game. McKelton scored
a season high 21 points against Hampton (1-12-09), 19 points against Maryland
Eastern Shore (2-21-09) and poured in 17 points against No. 16 Pittsburgh
(12-19-09). She pulled down a
season high 11 boards against Howard (3-10-09) and tallied six caroms against
South Carolina State (3-10-09).
High School:
McKelton lettered in basketball at Palm Beach Lakes
High School in West Palm Beach, Fla.
She finished her senior season averaging 20 points, five assist and
three rebounds per game, being named
the 2008 Palm Beach Post
and Sun Sentinel Player of
the Year and also was a McDonalds
All-American nominee.
McKelton finished
her junior season averaging 18 points, four assists and three rebounds per
game, reaping 2007 Sun Sentinel Player of the Week Honors and was named the
2007 channel 12 Athlete of the Week.
In the regional semifinals, McKelton scored a career high 40 points and
dished out five assists to advance her team to the finals.

Tameka Louise Jordon McKelton was born
on August 17, 1990 to Miranda and Joseph McKelton in West Palm Beach, Fla. She has three sibling in Patrick
McKelton, Patrkea McKelton and Brian McKelton. McKelton has two nephews, playing collegiate football,
Michael McKelton is a member of the University of Minnesota football program,
while her other newphew Ricky Limon is a member of the University of Pittsburgh
football program. She is currently
majoring in Education and enjoys cooking and shopping in her spare time.
