@High School:
Edwards was a four-year letter winner in basketball at
Columbia High School in Lake City, Fla. She finished her senior
season averaging 20 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and five steals
per game, earning her first team honors. She was also named Miss Columbia
High School 2010. She scored a season high 36 points against Gainesville
High School.
In her junior season, Edwards
averaged 15 points and three steals per game, earning the team's Offensive
Award and Most Valuable Player awards.

SharMayne Lenee Edwards was born on November 11,
1991 to Brenda Jernigan. She has a twin brother, Dwayne Edwards and has a
younger brother, Javonte Jennings. She also has an older sister, Deandrea
Edwards.
Edwards in her spare time
volunteers with the Special Olympics and is a member of the youth group at the
Miracle Tabernacle Church, where she also is a member of the youth choir.
Edwards is currently majoring in Criminal Justice, and enjoys playing
basketball, football and softball in her spare time.
