Biography

2014: Brandon Norwood quickly emerged as the go-to-guy for the Rattlers in the passing game, becoming the first freshman since All-American Jacquay Nunnally in 1997, to lead the team in receiving. Norwood finished with 36 catches for 516 yards and one (1) score, highlighted by a three catch, 74 yard breakout game against Miami (9-6-14), during which he had a 41-yard catch-and-carry play. He snagged seven passes for 87 yards against Tennessee State (9-27-14); had five grabs for 67 yards against Morgan State (10-3-14) and three receptions for 86 yards and score against Delaware State (11-15-14), with a season-long catch of 52 yards in that game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Norwood was a highly-regarded prep talent out of Atlanta’s Cedar Grove High, earning his way on the checklists of ACC and SEC schools.
