Jefferson finished with 51 total stops (30 solos), with five (5) tackles for 29 yards in losses, three (3) interceptions for 11 yards in returns,two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one quarterback hurry… He had eight (8) tackles, a tackle for loss, an interception, plus a quarterback hurry against Arkansas (8-31-17)… Jefferson logged a season high nine (9) tackles and one (1) for loss against Savannah State (9-23-17)…. Had five tackles and an interception against North Carolina A&T (10-14-17)… Recorded an interception, plus five tackles against Morgan State (10-28-17), and ended the season against Bethune-Cookman with eight (8) tackles, one for loss (11-18-17)…
@ 2016: Jefferson became a mainstay in the Rattler secondary as the season progressed in 2016, finishing with 47 total tackles (26 solos), 3.5 tackles for loss (16 yards), four interceptions (95 return yards), one forced fumble, and one pass breakup…. He earned Third Team All-MEAC honors for his efforts… Against Delaware State (10-15-16), he had a season high nine tackles (six solos), with one tackle for loss (eight yards), and one interception (69 yards returned)….
