Khadejra Young came in as a force for the Lady Rattlers last season. Normally comfortable in the three-guard position, Young quickly took on the role of point guard with several injuries to the FAMU squad. A natural leader, Young fit nicely in the role and led the Lady Rattlers as the floor general. She will be able to move back to the three position this season and looks to lead FAMU her senior season.
@HILLSBOROUGH CC: Young averaged 16 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.6 steals per game, scoring a career-high 31 points in one game for Hillsborough CC.
@NOVA HIGH: Young was a two-time All Broward County selection, averaging 13.6 points and 6.4 rebounds… As a senior, she earned a spot on the Miami Dade/Broward All-Star team…. She had a triple double against Coconut Creek in a regional playoff game.
